In each lesson, we will cover new and review repertoire, playing technique, sight-reading, note-identification, music theory through special music games, ear training, and improvisation (which the kids love!).
First Beats in Music:
30-minute group session, once per week for 8-week session ($120/8-week session)
Our new Toddler Group Music Classes! These are for children ages 3-5 who would fare best in a group setting learning the basics of music. We sing, dance, learn to keep a steady beat, learn about high and low sounds, fast and slow sounds, loud and soft sounds, and have PLENTY of joyful music fun! These classes are a precursor to Private Lessons.
Instrument: You must have a piano in the home for the child to complete their weekly practicing. A keyboard with full size keys (preferably weighted) will do for the beginning as you are getting used to lessons. But eventually, you should consider having a true acoustic piano. I can help you seek out an instrument if needed.
